There really is a holiday for everything. In honor of Grilled Cheese Month, the childhood staple will take center stage at L.A.’s first Grilled Cheese Invitational. Competitors’ sandwiches are divvied into categories like: Missionary (the usual), Kama Sutra (a little extra something), The Honey (on the sweeter side), and more. Be prepared to indulge in the gooey goodness. Saturday (4/19), 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

We love us some Father’s Office burgers and sweet potato fries as much as the next guy, but we don’t love the wait. Fortunately that’s about to change, when a second post that’s twice the size opens steps away from Culver City. Of course, this being a Sang Yoon venture, no official date has been announced.
